Assurance of job to waterman Kamegowda’s son not fulfilled: Siddaramaiah criticizes State Govt.

Bengaluru, October 18, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Siddaramaiah has criticized the State Government mentioning it as a party of lies, and not fulfilling the promise of providing job to the waterman Kamegowda’s son.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spoken about Kamegowda’s revolutionary water conservation works in his ‘Man Ki Baat’ program. On July 2, 2020, the Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa had promised to provide a government job to one of the two sons of Kamegowda based on the educational qualification. But, now Kamegowda is no more, but the government is yet to give a job to his son,” he alleged.
Kamegowda was instrumental in constructing 16 small tanks in and around his land at Dasanadoddi Village, in Malavalli Taluk, of Mandya District. He had also involved in conservation of environment and development of greenery, and we cannot forget his contributions. The PM Modi had spoken about the contributions of Kamegowda in ‘Man Ki Baat,’ and I welcom it. But, after that to Chief Ministers have come in the BJP government. But they couldn’t provide a job. It is a proof for the fake ‘Man Ki Baat.’
