Mysuru, Jan. 06, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “The Archaeological Research Centre is a hub of knowledge and information. There is a need of preserving and developing it and hence we need donors,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.Archaeological-University-development-donors-Required-Chancellor-Prof.G.Hemant Kumar
“There is a need to study the manuscripts that are in the centre and recreate them and preserve for the future generations,” he said.
Prof. R. Shivappa explained that there are contribution and efforts of many people behind the book collection of the centre. “In older days there were many people with deep knowledge, but unfortunately not many of them have that much knowledge. Instead of looking at the valuables that our elders have left behind for us, it is essential for us to look at the knowledge that we have to inherit,” he added.Archaeological-University-development-donors-Required-Chancellor-Prof.G.Hemant Kumar
