2,95,041 new Corona cases in country in last 24 hours!

New Delhi, Apr. 21, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The second wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic is almost uprooting the daily life of the countrymen. As many as 2,95,041 new Corona cases were reported in the last 24 hours in the country!
According to the Union Health Minister, 2,023 people died of Corona in the last 24 hours increasing the tally to 1,82,553. The total number of COVID infections has increased to 1,56,16,130.
As many as 1,67,457 have recovered increasing the tally to 1,32,76,039 and the total number of active cases has reached 21,67,538.
The five states which have reported highest number of Corona cases are: Maharashtra (62,097); Uttar Pradesh (29,574); Delhi (28,395), Karnataka (21,794) and Kerala (19,577).
